Mysterious Island

Themed area Urayasu-shi, Chiba, Japan

What to expect

Mysterious Island is a themed land at Tokyo DisneySea, located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. It is designed to resemble a recreation of the fictitious island in Jules Verne's novel, The Mysterious Island, and features a large volcano, known as Mount Prometheus, which is 'active' with bursts of fire, steam, and water. The area is themed around Captain Nemo's secret base and offers various attractions, including 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth. The island also features several restaurants and snack stands, such as Vulcania Restaurant and Nautilus Galley, as well as a gift shop called Nautilus Gifts
