Aquatopia

Ride Urayasu-shi, Chiba, Japan

What to expect

Aquatopia is an attraction at Tokyo DisneySea theme park in Urayasu-shi, Chiba, Japan. It is a trackless water ride located in the Port Discovery area of the park. The ride features personal hovercraft vehicles that move independently from each other at quick speeds through a large water lagoon. The water in the lagoon is about 5 cm deep, and the vehicles actually roll along the shallow floor on wheels. The ride is self-guided, and there are no visible tracks, giving the sensation of spontaneity and surprise. During the summer, one side of the lagoon becomes a 'wet course' while the other is the 'dry course'. The 'wet course' adds the possibility of getting soaked by hidden water jets along the ride, while the 'dry course' is jet-free. The ride is designed for three people per vehicle and has a duration of about 2.5 minutes. Guests who cannot maintain a stable sitting position alone in a moving vehicle may not ride
