The Basilica di Sant'Ubaldo is a Roman Catholic church located in Gubbio, Umbria, Italy. It is situated atop Mount Ingino and houses the body of Saint Ubaldo, the patron saint of Gubbio. The church is the finishing point for the annual Saint Ubaldo Day procession, which takes place on May 15th of each year. The procession includes a race between three teams of men, each representing one of the town's three guilds, and features statues of Saint Ubaldo, Saint George, and Saint Anthony. The church is accessible through a long, winding trail from the city or a chair-lift ride. The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes from the 16th to 18th centuries and has a semi-circular apse. The basilica is also famous for being the location of the 'Corsa dei Ceri' celebration, which involves all of the town's inhabitants and takes place every year on May 15th
