Piazza del Campo is the heart of the city of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most beautiful squares in the world. The square is shaped like a shell, divided into nine sections, and is stunning in its elegance and unique form. It is the city's living room and the open-air arena where the famous Palio is run twice a year. The square is paved with red brick and white travertine stone, and is surrounded by important monuments such as the Palazzo Pubblico, the Torre del Mangia, and the Fonte Gaia. The Palazzo Pubblico houses the Civic Museum with many famous masterpieces of Sienese art. The Torre del Mangia is 102 meters tall and offers a unique view of the entire city. The square hosts major events, including the Palio, and is a unique area where tourists can sit and admire the tranquil and enduring beauty of the city
