Tuttomondo

Street art Pisa, Tuscany, Italy

What to expect

Tuttomondo is a mural created by American artist Keith Haring in 1989, located on the rear wall of the Sant'Antonio Abate church in Pisa. The mural depicts 30 figures painted in Haring's cartoon-like style with an overarching theme of peace and harmony. Each character represents a different aspect of the world at peace, such as the 'humanized' scissors, which symbolize cooperation among men to defeat evil, and the woman holding a baby, which refers to the idea of motherhood. The mural is one of the few outdoor public works created by Haring for permanent display and is a great example of his pop art style. Visitors can admire the colorful and vibrant mural, which is a hidden treasure of Pisa, and enjoy the city's cosmopolitan atmosphere
