Palazzo Strozzi Museum

Palazzo Strozzi is a palace in Florence, Italy, and an example of civil architecture with its rusticated stone. The palace has a symmetrical ground plan and is surrounded by streets on all four sides, making it a free-standing structure. It features mullioned paired windows, a dominating cornice, and wrought-iron objects. The palace is used for international expositions, fashion shows, and other cultural and artistic events. Today, it is home to the Institute of Humanist Studies and the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, and also houses the Gabinetto G.P. Viesseux and the Renaissance Studies Institute
