The museum is situated in the beautiful Villa di Montughi, which was once the home of Frederick Stibbert, the founder of the museum. The villa has 57 rooms that exhibit Stibbert's collections from around the world, including paintings, furniture, porcelains, and valuable artifacts. One of the highlights of the museum is the cavalcade room, which features 14 life-size knights on horseback and 14 foot-soldiers dressed in armor and holding weapons.
