Lago di Tovel, located in the Brenta Dolomites, is a natural monument and a popular destination in the municipality of Ville d'Anaunia. The lake is known for its unique red color, which it used to display during the summer months due to the presence of a specific alga. Although this phenomenon no longer occurs, the lake remains a breathtaking sight, surrounded by dense forests and majestic peaks. Visitors can walk or cycle around the 4.5 km path that surrounds the lake, taking in the spectacular views and possibly spotting frogs, fish, or wooden sculptures. The area is also home to brown bears and offers a range of outdoor activities, making it an ideal destination for families and nature lovers
