What to expect

The Wild-Wald-Wunderweg, also known as the Funimal Forest, is a nature experience trail located on the sunny high plateau of Renon in Italy. The trail is designed to be child-friendly and features various themed stations where children can learn about and play with local forest and meadow inhabitants, such as Fiona the fox, Walter the woodpecker, and Sissi the squirrel. The 3.6 km long forest trail leads from Soprabolzano to the Lobishof and its mill, offering playing opportunities and information boards with facts about the forest animals. The trail is suitable for prams and can be completed in about one hour. The area also offers a Beekeeping Museum, which is approximately an hour's walk from the mill
