Ritten is a comune in South Tyrol, Italy, located on a high plateau between the valleys of the Talvera and Isarco rivers. The plateau is home to 17 fraziones, including the central village Klobenstein, and offers a range of recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, and skating. The area is known for its natural beauty, with earth pyramids and scenic views. Ritten is also home to the candy company Loacker and has a population of around 7,900 people. The comune is connected to Bolzano by a provincial road and a cableway from Oberbozen, which is one of the longest cableways in the world
