Lago di Anterselva, also known as Lake Anterselva, is a 44-hectare mountain lake situated in the Valle Anterselva, a tributary valley of the Val Pusteria. The lake is surrounded by the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park and features a nature path where visitors can learn about the lake and its surroundings. According to myth, the lake was formed when a beggar's prediction came true, destroying three prosperous farms in the area. The lake is also home to flesh-eating plants and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Collaspro. Nearby, visitors can find the SüdtirolArena Biathlon Stadium, a cross-country ski school, and several cross-country ski tracks. In the summer, the lake is a great starting point for extended MTB tours or mountain hikes, such as the hike to the Steinzger Mountain Hut
