Lago dei Caprioli is a typical Alpine lake and a great starting point for treks. The lake is surrounded by mountains and offers a pleasant and restful walk along its banks, allowing visitors to admire the mountains reflected in the lake's crystalline waters. There is an eponymous refuge on the banks of the lake, and the nearby Agritur Malga Bassa of Fazzon has a Visitor Information Centre that helps visitors discover the natural landscape. The centre focuses on geomorphologic and anthropic issues, with the bear and the chamois as its main protagonists. The Malga Alta di Fazzon, located at a 45-minute walk from the lake, is still used as an Alpine summer pasture and offers guided tours for visitors to observe traditional milk processing phases and techniques. The area also offers opportunities for mountain biking, running, and birding, with a challenging 16.5-mile loop trail that passes by the lake and the Chapel of Sant'Antonio
