Sicily with children: Messina, Catania and Mount Etna

Sicily with children: Messina, Catania and Mount Etna
This family's experience:

Activities: We did a small city walk. We saw churches with Norman influences and marveled at Sicily's history, from the Normans and Staufer to the Bourbons. We also searched for an ice cream shop that was open during the siesta time

Highlights: The historical context of the city was fascinating, especially the mix of rulers over the centuries. Even though the ice cream wasn't the best, the city walk was a nice introduction to Sicily ✨
