Capo Testa

Peninsula Santa Teresa Gallura, Sardinia, Italy

What to expect

Capo Testa is a promontory on the Northern coast of Sardinia, known for its unique rock formations shaped by the powerful wind over the Mediterranean. The area features several beaches, including Rena di Ponente and Rena di Levante, which are divided by a narrow isthmus. These beaches offer calm and blue-green pools, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The rocky coast is also home to several coves, such as Cala Spinosa and Cala Francese, which are perfect for exploring the seabed and enjoying total relaxation. The area is characterized by white-gray granite sculpted by the wind into anthropomorphic and zoomorphic shapes, dense Mediterranean vegetation, and clean, transparent waters. Capo Testa is a great place for families to visit, with its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and unique rock formations

Sardinia in spring as a family with kids - a blooming island and plenty of peace and quiet
This family's experience:

Activities: We went to the Capo Testa peninsula. There are very bizarrely shaped granite rocks that create a very strange landscape. The children climbed the rocks and jumped over every crack. We had a picnic with bread, fruit, salsiccia and pecorino by the sea

Highlights: The kids really enjoyed climbing the rocks. "Over all the rocks, and jumping across every gap." The scenery was beautiful and the picnic was delicious! ✨
