Gola di Gorropu is a spectacular canyon in Sardinia, Italy, and one of the deepest in Europe. It is located in the Supramonte area, between the territories of Orgosolo and Urzulei. The canyon has been shaped by the force of the Rio Flumineddu rivulet and features a unique landscape with limestone gullies, narrow gorges, and deep sinkholes. The area is covered with juniper trees, yew trees, holm oak forests, and Mediterranean species, and is home to typical Sardinian wildlife such as the golden eagle and the mouflon. Visitors can enjoy trekking at different levels of difficulty, with or without a guide, and can explore the canyon's trails, which offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape
