Su Gologone Spring is Sardinia's most important spring, located at the foot of Monte Uddè, near Oliena. The spring is a natural monument, recognized in 1998, and is the main resurgence in the vast Supramonte karstic system. The water has carved meanders in the subsoil over millennia, resurfacing as a small lake with hues ranging from emerald green to turquoise and intense blue, depending on the sun's reflections. The spring's crystal-clear waters and incredible depth have attracted cave divers from around the world, with the most significant exploration reaching a depth of 135 meters in 2010

Activities: We hiked around the Sorgente Su Gologone. We followed a path through the light forest, past a small museum in an old farmhouse. We enjoyed the views from a terrace overlooking the source and the panoramic path through varied landscapes to the top of a rock
Highlights: The magical landscape and the views were amazing. The panoramic view was great. It offered a view of a lovely hilly landscape and the mountains of the Supramonte di Oliena ✨
