Tombe dei Giganti

The Tombe dei Giganti, located near Olbia in Sardinia, is an ancient nuragic tomb that dates back to the Bronze Age. The tomb is characterized by its unique structure, which consists of a long, apsidated corridor and a large exedra with a bench-seat. The site was originally built as a gallery burial in the Early Bronze Age and was later transformed into a tomb of giants in the Middle Bronze Age. The tomb is one of the largest in Sardinia, measuring 28 meters in length and 6 meters in width. Visitors can explore the site and learn about the history and culture of the nuragic civilization. The area is also home to other archaeological sites, including the Pedres Castle and the Riu Mulinu nuraghe
