The Museo Egizio is an archaeological museum specializing in Egyptian archaeology and anthropology. It houses one of the largest collections of Egyptian antiquities, with more than 30,000 artifacts, and is considered the second most important Egyptological collection in the world. The museum features a vast collection of Egyptian art and artifacts, including statues, papyri, stelae, mummies, and other items. Some of the notable exhibits include the Papyrus of Iuefankh, the longest papyrus preserved in the museum, and the statue of Sethy II, which weighs 5 tons. The museum also has a 'Restoration Area' where visitors can see the restoration of animal mummies. With 24 human mummies and 17 animal mummies on display, the museum offers a unique and educational experience for families and visitors of all ages
