What to expect

The Parco Regionale del Conero is a protected area in the Marche region of Italy, covering about 6000 hectares of land. It includes the towns of Ancona, Camerano, Numana, and Sirolo. The park features a diverse range of landscapes, including steep limestone cliffs, hills, agricultural areas, valley floors, wetlands, coastal dunes, and salt lakes. Visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing, and water sports, as well as exploring the park's rich geological, historic, and artistic attractions, such as rock carvings, Roman caves, and medieval monasteries. The park is also home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including over a thousand species of wild plants and several mammals, such as deer, wild boar, and hedgehogs. The area is suitable for families, with many paths and activities that can be enjoyed together, including horse riding on the beach in winter months
