The Grotte di Frasassi, located in the municipality of Genga, Italy, is a karst cave system and one of the most famous show caves in Italy. The cave system includes a number of named chambers, such as the Grotta Grande del Vento, Abisso Ancona, Sala delle Candeline, and Sala dell'Infinito, featuring stunning stalactites and stalagmites. The caves are rich in water and home to a large colony of bats. Visitors can explore 1.5 km of the crystalline wonderland, which includes walkways and theatrical lighting. The temperature inside the cave is a constant 14 degrees C, making it a great destination for a rainy day. The nearby Frasassi Gorge and the Romanesque church in the little spa of San Vittore delle Chiuse are also worth visiting
