The Grotte delle Meraviglie is a cave system located in the Calcare di Zù geological formation, near the town of Zogno in the Lombardy region of Italy. The caves have two entrances, an upper one with a tight entrance and a series of vertical wells, and a lower one with a comfortable artificial tunnel. The caves feature a labirinto, or labyrinth, with stunning rock formations, including stalactites and stalagmites. The caves are a great place to learn about geological events and karst phenomena, and offer a unique and fascinating experience for visitors. The caves were first explored in 1932 and were one of the first tourist caves in Italy, thanks to the efforts of Ermenegildo Zanchi and the Gruppo Grotte S. Pellegrino
