What to expect

The Antiquarium is located in the Prehistoric Rock Art Park in Grosio, which features the Rupe Magna, one of the biggest incised boulders in the Alpine mountain chain with over 5,000 markings dating back to between the fourth and first millennium B.C. The park also includes the ruins of two ancient castles, the Castello Vecchio and the Castello Nuovo, and offers a unique opportunity to explore the history and culture of the Valtellina valley. The Antiquarium itself hosts a permanent exhibition of archaeological finds from the area, including ceramics and other artifacts that provide insight into the prehistoric settlements of the region
