Corniglia

Town Vernazza, Liguria, Italy

What to expect

Corniglia is a small village located in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, perched on a cliff 100 meters above sea level. It is the smallest of the five villages and the least accessible, with 382 stairs leading up to the village or a shuttle bus from the station. The village is characterized by narrow roads and a terrace in the rock from which all other four Cinque Terre's villages can be seen. Corniglia is ideal for hikers and nature lovers, with vineyards and olive groves surrounding the village. It's a great place to enjoy sunsets and a romantic atmosphere in the evenings. There are a few high-quality hotels in Corniglia, all with amazing sea views
