The Villa del Principe is a Renaissance villa and museum in Genoa, Italy. It was built in the 16th century for Andrea Doria, a great admiral of Charles V, and features frescoes, paintings, and sculptures by important Ligurian, Italian, and foreign artists. The villa's Italian Renaissance garden is home to a monumental marble fountain of Neptune by the Carlone brothers. The museum boasts works by artists such as Perin del Vaga, Piola, Tavarone, Cambiaso, Titian, and Castello, and its rooms are decorated with valuable tapestries, including two exceptional 15th-century works featuring Stories of Alexander the Great and the series of the Battle of Lepanto.
