The Giardino Botanico Ponziano is a private botanical garden located on the island of Ponza, in the Pontine Islands, Province of Latina, Lazio, Italy. The garden was established in the 1980s and contains a variety of woody plants typical of the Pontine Islands and now threatened. It also contains a collection of wild orchids, including Neottia nidus-ovis, Ophrys tenthredinifera, Orchis morio, Orchis papilionacea, Serapias lingua, and Spiranthes spiralis. The garden is home to around 70 species of plants, distributed along a circular path that winds its way through the top of the Belvedere hill. The garden's design is naturalistic, with tree and herbaceous species interspersed throughout the grassy surface of the hilltop. There are also three apartments within the garden where visitors can stay and enjoy the panoramic views. The garden is a great place to visit with family and friends, especially during the late spring when the plants are in bloom
