What to expect

The Laghetti di Fusine are two small lakes, Lago Superiore and Lago Inferiore, located in the municipality of Tarvisio, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. The lakes are of glacial origin and are situated in a limestone amphitheater created by the Mangart mountain range. The area is a protected nature reserve, known as the Parco naturale dei Laghi di Fusine, and is home to a variety of flora and fauna. The Rifugio Zacchi, a mountain refuge, is located near the lakes and offers accommodation and food for visitors.
