Lignano Sabbiadoro is a town and comune in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of north-eastern Italy. It is one of the main summer resorts in northern Italy and on the Adriatic Sea coast. The town is divided into three zones, each with its own particular traits: the historic centre, the greener area of Lignano Pineta, and Lignano Riviera, the waterfront. Lignano Sabbiadoro has 5 miles of fine-sand beaches and has obtained several national and international recognitions, including the Blue Flag.
