Wasserfall von Borgonuovo

Waterfall Sasso Marconi, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

What to expect

Sasso Marconi is a town in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, named after the cliff overlooking the valleys of the Reno and Setta rivers and Guglielmo Marconi, the scientist who invented radio and wireless communication. The town offers beautiful nature trails, sporty activities, and a good food and wine tradition, with typical local products like wine, chestnuts, and truffles. Visitors can explore the village, visit Villa Griffone, which houses the Marconi Museum and Mausoleum, and enjoy the Church of San Lorenzo, an eighteenth-century building with a Madonna by Francesco Albani and a mechanical nativity scene. The town also celebrates the truffle festival and the historic 'Fira di Sdaz' event

This family's experience:

Activities: We revisited the waterfall. My son wanted to visit it again. "Auch die Galerien entlang des Comer Sees waren hoch genug für unser rund 2,30 m hohes Mobil. Auf diesem Streckenabschnitt haben wir exakt die gleichen Stopps eingelegt wie im letzten Jahr, denn sowohl den Wasserfall von Borgonuovo als auch das Eiscafé in Domaso wollte mein Sohn unbedingt wieder besuchen." (Also, the galleries along Lake Como were high enough for our 2.30 m high mobile. On this stretch, we made exactly the same stops as last year, because my son definitely wanted to visit both the waterfall of Borgonuovo and the ice cream parlor in Domaso again.)

Highlights: Our son especially enjoyed revisiting the waterfall ✨
