Grotta Azzurra is a sea cave located in Centola, Italy. It is the most extensive and well-known cave in the Capo Palinuro complex. The cave gets its name from the spectacular effect of the blue color that illuminates the entire environment, making it seem unreal and suggestive. This effect is caused by the sunlight coming from an underwater tunnel. The cave also features hydrothermal springs, stalactites, and stalagmites. Visitors can see a unique calcareous formation that resembles a dolphin's head. The cave is a popular destination for boat tours and is known for its breathtaking scenery
