What to expect

The Grotta di Matermania is a large, natural cave on the east coast of the island of Capri, Italy. It is located near the Arco Naturale and can be reached by walking along the beautiful Pizzolungo walking route or by walking down the steps from the Arco Naturale. The cave is approximately 27 m long, 18 m wide, and 18 m high. During Roman times, the cave was used as a Nympheum and was an important site for archaeological finds.
