Fontainemore is a town and comune in the Aosta Valley region of north-western Italy. It is located in the middle of the Lys Valley, near the chasm known as Gouffre de Guillemore. The town has a rich history, with the first school elementare pubblica being founded in 1678. The town is also home to the Chiesa Parrocchiale di Sant’Antonio Abate, which was built in 1494 and features a presbiterio with abside rotondo and a volta a vela with nervature in pietra. The town also has a geological trail called 'Le pietre del Lys' which is a didactic trail that illustrates the main geological events that took place in the Lys Valley. The trail features large rocky masses and has both recreational and educational functions, making it suitable for adult visitors and children alike.
