South Barrule is a hill in the south of the Isle of Man, with a height of 1585 feet. It offers extensive views across the Island in all directions and on a clear day, further views of the coastlines of Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. The hill has the remains of an ancient fort on its summit, which is traditionally the home of the Manx god of the sea Mannanan beg mac y Leir. South Barrule is also surrounded by conifer plantations and features a number of purpose-built mountain bike trails and a skills area. The Cringle Reservoir, formed to supply water to the southern part of the island, is located on the south western slope of the hill
