The Irish National Heritage Park is an open-air museum that showcases 9,000 years of Irish history, from the Mesolithic period to the Norman Invasion in 1169. The park features 16 reconstructed dwellings, including a Mesolithic camp, a Neolithic farmstead, a portal dolmen, a cyst grave, a stone circle, a medieval ringfort, a monastic site, crannóg, and a Viking harbour. Visitors can explore the park through guided tours, which include the Pre-Historic Ireland, Early Christian Ireland, and Age of Invasion tours. The park also offers a Falconry Centre where visitors can learn about birds of prey, and a restaurant and café with spectacular views over the Crannog. Families can enjoy a range of activities, including overnight experiences in a Viking settlement or ringfort, and a chance to try their hand at falconry
