The Hook Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in the world and the second oldest operating lighthouse in the world. It is situated on Hook Head at the tip of the Hook Peninsula in County Wexford, Ireland. The lighthouse stands four stories high with walls up to 4m thick and offers guided tours, allowing visitors to climb the 115 well-worn steps of the tower and explore the thick-walled chambers. The tour experience takes you on a journey through time, with life-size holograms and figures telling the story of the lighthouse's history. Visitors can enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the Southeast of Ireland from the tower balcony. The lighthouse is a great place to visit with family and friends, with facilities such as a children's play area, restaurant, and wheelchair accessibility
