What to expect

The Ring of Kerry is a 179-kilometre-long circular tourist route in County Kerry, south-western Ireland. The route follows the N71 to Kenmare, then the N70 around the Iveragh Peninsula to Killorglin, passing through Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen, and Glenbeigh, before returning to Killarney via the N72. The route offers stunning views of lakes, rivers, waterfalls, grand houses, and castles, as well as pristine beaches such as Derrynane, Rossbeigh, and St Finian's Bay. The area is also home to the Killarney National Park, which features Muckross House and Gardens, a 19th-century mansion with lush gardens. The Ring of Kerry is known for its natural beauty, with rolling green hills, sparkling lakes, and jaw-dropping cliffs, making it a popular destination for tourists and a great location for outdoor activities such as cycling
