Prambanan Temple Compounds is a Hindu temple compound located in Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The compound consists of Prambanan Temple, also known as Loro Jonggrang, which is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia. The temple was built in the 10th century and is dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator, Preserver, and Destroyer. The compound is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features a large complex of individual temples, including 240 temple structures, which represent the grandeur of ancient Java's Hindu art and architecture. The temple is characterized by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu architecture, and is surrounded by hundreds of shrines. The compound is considered a masterpiece of the classical period in Indonesia and attracts many visitors from around the world
