Turtle Island

Turtle Island, located in Denpasar, Bali, is a small island known for its turtles and one of Bali's six most sacred temples, Pura Dalem Sakenan. The island is home to the Turtle Conservation And Education Center, which helps protect turtles around Bali by hosting injured animals, collecting nests, and buying eggs from locals. Visitors can tour the center, see rescued turtles, and even adopt and release a baby turtle.
