Bali Sharks

Shark sanctuary Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia

What to expect

Bali Sharks is a unique attraction where visitors can swim with sharks, specifically blacktip reef sharks and white reef sharks. The conservation project, also known as The Serangan Shark Project, aims to educate and raise awareness about shark conservation. The project was founded by Paul Friese, a surfer and conservationist, who collaborated with former poachers to create a safe haven for sharks. The site offers a 3-hour eco-tour, which includes swimming and feeding the sharks, as well as visiting a turtle conservation center. The tour is suitable for all ages, and visitors can also participate in other activities such as releasing sea turtles and fish. The project has successfully rescued and released over 200 sharks, making it a great place to learn about and interact with these amazing creatures
