Ram Jhula

Bridge Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India

What to expect

Ram Jhula is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges, located in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. The bridge connects the Sivananda Nagar area of Muni Ki Reti to the Swargashram area of Rishikesh, crossing the river from west to east. It is one of the iconic landmarks of Rishikesh and is bigger than Lakshman Jhula, which is located 2 kilometres up the river. The bridge is constructed with a span of 750 feet and allows motorbikes to run on it. There are many Hindu ashrams and religious centers established on both sides of the Ganges, and the bridge serves as a connecting link between them
