Agra Fort, also known as the 'Lal –Qila', 'Fort Rouge' or 'Qila-i-Akbari', is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site and can be more accurately described as a walled city. It has a rich history, with various rulers contributing to its construction and modification over the years, including Babur, Humayun, Akbar, and Shah Jahan. The fort contains many notable buildings, such as the Diwan-i-Am, Royal Pavilions, mosques, palaces, and the Zenana Mina Bazaar. The fort's architecture is a blend of different styles, with intricate carvings and pure marbles used in its making. The fort offers breathtaking views of the Yamuna River and the Taj Mahal from its balconies
