The Manakula Vinayagar Temple is a Ganesha temple located in Puducherry, India. The temple is dedicated to the god Ganesa and is a popular pilgrimage site and tourist destination. The temple features a traditional Dravidian Architecture and is beautifully decorated with an array of friezes and stucco figurines. The main highlight of the temple is the gold laminated kodi kambam and the idol of Lord Ganesha that rests on a golden chariot. The temple also has a mandapam, a prahara, and raja gopuram where the statues of the deities are kept. Visitors can also see the elephant Lakshmi that blesses people with her trunk. Activities: We visited the Manakula Vinayagar Temple in Pondicherry and offered gifts to the elephant, Lakshmi. She accepted offerings of coins and fresh grass, then blessed us by touching our heads with her trunk. We also browsed the small merchant stalls around the temple
Highlights: The kids were amazed by Lakshmi, the temple elephant! They loved watching her gather the offerings with her trunk and give blessings. The little market stalls with Ganesh statues and stickers were a great hit for souvenirs! ✨

Activities: We offered gifts to Lakshmi, the elephant at the Manakula Vinayagar Temple. Lakshmi receives offerings of coins and fresh grass, which she skillfully grabs with her trunk. Then, she blesses you by placing her trunk on your head. We also checked out the small vendors around the temple
