Fort Cochi

Fort Kochi is a region in Kochi city, Kerala, India, rich in heritage and culture, and a prominent tourist destination. It was the first European township in Kerala and has several historical monuments such as the St. Francis Church, the Dutch Seminary, and the Mattancherry Palace. The area is also home to the Santa Cruz Basilica and the Indian Navy's ship, Dronacharya. Fort Kochi celebrates the New Year's Eve with a carnival, which attracts thousands of visitors.
