Grábrók is a volcanic crater located east of Lake Hreðavatn in the fjord of Borgarfjörður in West Iceland. It is the largest of three craters within the same volcanic fissure and is a popular hiking destination. The crater offers scenic views over the surrounding landscape, including the university campus and the moss-covered lava fields of Borgarfjörður. The area has been protected as a nature preserve since 1962 and features comfortable hiking trails suitable for people of all ages
