A day in the glacier ice with Glacier Adventure in Iceland
Activities: We started our day at the Basecamp of Glacier Adventure, having a nutritious muesli. We were equipped with helmets, crampons, and climbing harnesses. Then, we went on a tour to the glacier in an off-road vehicle. We hiked to the glacier, and then we started ice climbing, descending into a glacier bowl, and climbing a steep ice wall
Highlights: It was simply breathtaking to do such a glacier tour. We were fascinated by the blue glacier crevasse and enjoyed ice climbing. The guides were very friendly, and the tour is highly recommended, especially for teenagers. The experience on the thousands of years old glacier ice in Iceland was amazing ✨
