The Golden Circle is a 190-mile loop that takes you on an unforgettable journey through some of Iceland's most breathtaking natural wonders. The route includes three beautiful destinations: Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir Geothermal Area, and the Gullfoss Waterfall. Thingvellir National Park is located in a rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, offering dramatic cliffs, flowing rivers, and deep gorges. Visitors can walk between the continents in the Mid-Atlantic Rift or snorkel or scuba dive in the crystal-clear spring water of Silfra. The Geysir geothermal area is home to the geyser from which all other geysers derive their name, as well as Strokkur, which erupts every 5-10 minutes. The Golden Circle is a year-round destination, offering a variety of landscapes and highlights in a day, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
