What to expect

Hverfjall is a tuff ring volcano with an impressive crater, approximately one kilometre in diameter. The crater is about 100m high and offers great views of the surrounding area, including Lake Mývatn. Visitors can hike to the top of the crater and make a full loop around it. The trail is considered moderately challenging and is suitable for families with children. The area is popular for hiking and is beautiful to visit anytime, with stunning views and a unique landscape. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash
