Iceland

Country Iceland

What to expect

Iceland is a country with a small population of around 394,000 people, with two-thirds of its residents living in the capital city of Reykjavík or the surrounding area. The country has a temperate climate, thanks to the warming effects of the Gulf Stream, with average temperatures ranging from 30-43°F (-1-6°C) in winter and 46-55°F (8-13°C) in summer. Iceland is known for its stunning natural beauty, with picturesque fishing towns, volcanoes, lava fields, narrow fjords, and breathtaking vistas. The country is also home to the world's first parliamentary democracy, established in 930, and is considered one of the safest and happiest nations in the world. Visitors can experience the many natural wonders of Iceland, including the midnight sun, the northern lights, and the Blue Lagoon, and enjoy a range of activities such as road trips and tours
