Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach is a seaside resort and a small neighborhood in Reykjavík, the capital city of Iceland. It has a beach with an artificial hot spring, where hot water is pumped into a man-made lagoon. The temperature of the ocean is usually around 12 to 16 °C during the summer and drops down to about −2 °C in the winter. The area inside the cove is usually a few degrees warmer than the ocean. The beach is equipped with changing facilities, showers, steam-baths, and hot tubs. It's a great place for people who love splashing around in the ocean or sunbathing in the golden sand.
