Lake Tjörnin

Tjörnin, also known as The Pond, is a small lake in central Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. It is a popular recreational area, surrounded by scenic views, walking paths, and several notable buildings, including the City Hall, museums, and the National Theatre. The lake is home to around 40-50 species of water birds, including the Arctic tern, Eider, and Whooper swan, making it a great spot for birdwatching.
