The Liberty Bridge, also known as the Freedom Bridge, is a bridge in Budapest, Hungary, that connects Buda and Pest across the Danube river. It is the third southernmost public road bridge in Budapest and features Art Nouveau design, mythological sculptures, and the country's coat of arms adorned on its side. The bridge is 333.6 meters in length and 20.1 meters in width, with two public squares, Gellért tér and Fővám tér, at its ends. The northeastern house contains a museum on the bridges of Budapest. A number of trams cross the bridge as well as other road vehicles, and there is an initiative to convert it to a pedestrian-only crossing
